What a Spam Trap Actually Is

  3. Re-verify periodically, not once. Recycled traps specifically target senders whose lists were legitimate at signup but haven't been checked since.
  4. Remove long-inactive contacts rather than continuing to mail them indefinitely — an address that never engages is exactly the profile a recycled trap fits.
